In keeping with the idea of saving the best for last, the last leg of the Mongoose GAS Gauteng DH provincial cup will be held on 25 & 26 June on Dirk Lourens’s private DH track in Malelane, Mpumalanga. In my opinion it is the proverbial cherry on the downhill cake as far as track design and build quality goes… (more…)

The Gauteng DH provincial cup series kicks off the weekend of on 19 & 20 February at the Helderkruin DH tarck. This is the first official race for the GP boys in 2011 and so the whole country get fully into DH racing mode… (more…)
The past weekend of 30 and 31 October saw Stonehouse mountain lodge play host to the third race in the GAS club series. Besides a jam packed race day with the usual surprises on the podium and placings it was a fun event that was thoroughly ejoyed by all who attended… (more…)
