The week of the World Championships can be a very tough week indeed on the best athletes in the world. Peaty takes Gold in Canberra

Monday, September 7th, 2009

Unless you live under a rock by now you will know that Steve Peat has finally managed to win the World Champs! He managed to edge out GM by 0.05 seconds, of which Minnaar had clawed back a full second on the pedaling section at the bottom. It seems that if the track was 100m longer Minnaar would certainly have won it. Cangrats to Steve though, its been a long time coming for him and he certainly deserves this win.
