Sam Hill’s Demo 8
As everyone knows this World Cup is the first official team race for the new Monster Energy / Specialized team. We went past the team pits and had a look at Sam Hills new Demo 8.
A lot has been said about Sam riding for Specialized and we finally got a chance to see the new bike in the flesh. His bike setup is pretty unique in that these team bikes look a lot more nimble then the classic Demo models which are considered to be “plow bikes”. There have been a few geometry tweaks to this bike over the standard models and the overall look of the bike seems like it is a lot easier to throw around then older ones. Sams bike was also packed with prototype Black Box items from SRAM as well as his signature items from FUNN.
