In a somewhat unspectacular fashion the 2010 DH season came to a satisfactory close at a brand new track at Fort Klapperkop this past weekend after a frantic two week building session. Expectantly the track was not exactly the kind of track one would have wanted to present a championship event on, but thanks to the hard work of our local riders the day was a success. With a total length of 1043m and an altitude drop of 111m the track was deceptively fast and tested rider’s fitness and technical skill.
