The 5th round of the MTN national MTB series happens in Fountains PTA on the 23rd and 24th of May. The DH track is still under construction but should be complete after this coming weekend. Here is what the organisers press release has to say about the event.

The MTN National MTB Series draws to a close in Gauteng’s most Notorious spot for any extreme MTB action, Fountains! Come and participate in the country’s most prestigious Series and see the PRO’s in action.

This scenic setting in the heart of the Capital, nestled in-between the hills which camouflage the forts on either side of the reserve, plays host the series finale and crowning of the MTN NATIONAL CUP SERIES acknowledging the best riders in this discipline in Southern Africa!

The venue is the most spectator friendly in the series and offers viewpoints almost all-round it’s 5km track! This track is renound for the flowy single track that carves its way through the trees. With few obstacles and the odd rocky outcrop, drop-offs, bridges and short steep climbs, speed and quick thinking is of the essence here, testing your limits!

Come and celebrate the crowning of the series leaders and see the final shoot-out between the best riders our country has to offer!
