Klapperkop track is ready

We just got word that the new Klapperkop track is ready to ride and there will be open practice this weekend…
Francois had the following to say about the new track:
“The new Klapperkop course is done and ready to be ridden. Come along this weekend for some much needed practice. There will be access for the whole course and the course will test all skill levels. I won’t be doing the shuttle as i am busy building some wooden ski jumps and have some more logistical issues to sort out with the organisers. I will try my utmost to be on the course on Saturday, but if not, Marnus will be there.
Hope to see you all turn out in your numbers.”
The course will start at the fort’s gate and run towards the Groenkloof campus on the corner of Herbert Baker str and George Storrar drive. We will head out this weekend to ride the track and will shoot some pics for those of you who live in other parts of the country. For those of you who can make it here is a map to the track.

I just hope its been marked wider then previous tracks. We need to take note of the international tracks that are wider and allow riders to choose lines instead of just racing on single track.
