Going global – Contermanskloof is officially on the map
A few weeks ago we brought you news of an exciting new bit of technology that helps you locate various trails around the world on your iPhone. And more often than not these technological innovations are only aimed at the major international bike parks and trail centers. But not anymore…
As promised, we at NSRMTB maintained contact with the developers of the iPhone app that maps the world’s DH trails and bike parks, and it gives us great pleasure to announce the addition of Contermanskloof Mountainbike Trails to the list of riding venues from around the world. With the sport of DH MTB steadily growing in SA and our local talent like Pottie, Tim and Tiaan making their presence felt on the UCI World Cup DH results list we feel it is our duty to contribute to the sport as and where we can. The Contermanskloof Mountainbike Trails is a great venue for DH, All Mountain and XC riding and access to this facility was made possible by Robert Starke and the team at the Contermanskloof farm. Thanks guys, we hope the addition of your venue on the world map ensures travelers from around the world get to ride these wonderful trails nestled in the Durbanville hills.
