DH race in Cape Town this weekend

There will be a DH race this weekend on Sunday November 1st in Cape Town…

Practice from 9am to 1:30pm Racing starts 2pm
Entry fee is R220.00
No sponsors

Directions – Take the N1 north from Cape Town then take the Paarl turnoff Follow the direction signs from there, or follow the signs to the Taal  Monument.
Paramedics will be present.
Overall the downhill course is more suited to a 6 inch trail bike but there are sections where a full DH bike will be an advantage.
I don’t have the course length but expect the fastest times to be just under two minutes so its quite a short course and times will be close.

    R220.00 entry! Thats pretty steep considering you pay less then that to race a National. Gauteng races are R80.00.
