DH practice this morning was a slippery affair
Due to the rain that fell last night the top section of the DH track this morning was covered in a slick layer of mud. The clay content in the soil is very high on this course and as soon as it gets wet grip is all but completely gone.
The riders that went out for practice had a hard time on the steep upper sections and many a rider ended up going through the tape. It is definitely a sober reminder of what will happen if it rains before the finals on Sunday. Here are a few snaps of the guys who braved this mornings conditions.
