Our buddy Harold sent us some pics from his home trails in California. Harold used to live in SA but moved to the USA some time ago. He sent us these snaps to give us an idea of the type of stuff he rides every day. To say I am jealous is an understatement! (more…)

The week of the World Championships can be a very tough week indeed on the best athletes in the world. Everything needs to come together, physically, mentally and equipment wise to make this once-in-a-year opportunity reach its maximum potential. For Trek World Racing, which had all 6 of its athletes qualified for the World Championships, the results were mixed. Tracy Moseley however was literally the silver lining to a tough week, bringing home the silver medal in the Women’s Downhill. Having won here at this venue last year during the World Cup, Tracy was a little disappointed not to have won, but was philosophical all the same. (more…)

We received a few rather cryptic emails from Brent Carpenter containing pics from a recent trip to Saalbach in Austria. There was no words filling us in on exactly what happened, but from what we understand a bunch of local riders recently went to Austria to ride the bike parks there. Bushview mainly has single track for the pedaling crowd but also has a feature for the Freeriders out there. Namely a long gully filled with jumps, small drops and wallrides. This thing is fun and a good length as well. You ride in from the top on the single track and can either hit a small jump into the gully or ride around it and into the line. The cool thing about this gully is that you can either go wild and hit all the jump lines or just take it easy and follow the flatter bottom line. Room for both shredder or hacker. When you are done with the gully you can head back towards the parking lot and practice your flow on the ultra tight pump track.
